Terms of service
Last updated October 29, 2026
These terms cover your use of Cliqly, a time tracker for freelancers who sell hours to clients. By creating an account you agree to them. If you have a question, email hello@cliqly.app.
Your account
You need a valid email address or Google account to sign in. Keep access to it secure: anyone who can open your sign-in emails can open your account.
You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to use Cliqly.
Early access
Cliqly is in early access and free to use. Features may change, and we may introduce paid plans later. We'll tell you before anything you use starts costing money, and you can export your data and leave at any time.
We work to keep Cliqly available and your data safe, but during early access we can't promise uninterrupted service. Keep your own copy of anything you can't afford to lose (Settings → Download CSV).
Your data and your clients
You own everything you put into Cliqly: clients, projects, time entries and messages. We use it only to run the service for you.
When you add a client's details, share a client hub link or send updates, you are responsible for having a good reason to contact that client and for what you send them. Clients can stop email updates with the link in each email, and Cliqly honours that choice.
Acceptable use
Don't use Cliqly to send spam or messages your clients didn't agree to, to break the law, or to try to access other people's data or disrupt the service. We may suspend accounts that do.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. That removes your data and turns off your client hub links straight away.
We may close accounts that break these terms. Where we can, we'll warn you first and give you time to export your data.
Liability
Cliqly is provided as is. Time totals, bank figures and emails are tools to help you; check them before you invoice. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you by email or in the app before the change takes effect.
